Emma and Jack will swim the 100 Backstroke at the Olympics after hitting the BOA qualifying times in London and Barcelona at the end of May. Jack hit the qualifying time in London on May 27 at the AP Race London International 2024 meet where he swam a 55.19 in the 100 Meter Backstroke, breaking his own Bermuda National Record and surpassing the BOA’s qualification time of 55.35. Emma, just three days later, hit the qualifying time at the Trofeu Internacional Ciutat de Barcelona winning the B final in a time of 1:01.21, breaking her own Bermuda National Record and surpassing the BOA qualification standard of 1:01.79.
